BASIC CHARACTERISTICS
Hyper Maker allows you to create hypertext files by using its built-in word processor; you can also import files from your own word processor (it reads RTF and ASCII formats), or transfer text by copying and pasting.
It can link different text files, or different sections of a same file between each other, as well as linking text to pictures, sounds, videos, programs and help files (HLP).
It includes features for searching text for words, printing text and pictures (WMF pictures are printed along with the text, but BMP pictures can only be printed separately), and copying text to the Windows clipboard.
To be able to use Hyper Maker's multimedia capabilities you must have a PC complying with MPC requirements, and have Windows 3.1, Windows 3.11 or Windows 95 installed together with a Video for Windows run-time module.
To distribute Hyper Maker generated files to third parties, together with the linked pictures or videos, Hyper Maker automatically creates the required installation disks, compressing files for space optimization.
It can read files saved as Rich Text Format (RTF), Only Text (ASCII), as well as BMP and WMF pictures, WAV and MID sounds, and AVI videos.
